Food for the future?

It is quicker to produce non organic food, hence why it's done. And since it can be harvested at a faster rate, and because artificial hormones can accelerate the development of animal growth, these things in turn produce more food (albeit it somewhat toxic food), making sustenance more readily available to the populace. If all farms suddenly went organic, there'd be much famine and starving. So in this case, non organic food "is" the alternative.
