Why ESR and Albumin is high?

I am woman of age 41yrs.I am diabetic from 6-7 years. Presently I'm on insulin (28 unit in morning and 16 unit at night - Novamix 30/70). There was swelling in my ankles, feet and legs. In medical tests Hb-12.5, ESR-50mm in Ist hr., Albumin + in Urine, Sugar ++ in Urine, S.Creatinine 0.7 mg/dl, SGPT-24 I.U./L. That means 3 tests are abnormal -ESR, Albumin, Sugar. What are the reasons of abnormalities in ESR and Albumin tests?
