Same gotra marriage issue is more important than lives?marriage is not a joke or an trial?

i love a guy and want to marry him ,both of us had a same surname ,i.e., same gotra, we dont even knew eachother before we met,he has no connection within my 14 generations only i got opposing answer that you are of same gotra,n so u cant marry,so i juz wanna ask that shud two lives be put on risk on matter of same gotra,please give me a pleasing answer.
